    The research was conducted in PTP Nusantara VI Kayu Aro, Regency of Kerinci, Jambi Province on July to August 2006. The respondents were daily fix employees (DFE) of female tea picker, research location was chosen purposively. Aims of the research are: to estimate the productivity level, income level and contribution level to the family income of tea picker female worker in PTP Nusantara VI Kayu Aro Regenci of Kerinci, Jambi Province. Sampling conducted by Simple Random Sampling, total samples are 102 respondents of 1,011 people population. Statistic analysis used in the research is Rank Spearman (rs) correlation test by reliability level 95% (a/2 = 0.025) and to examine the significance level used two tailed t-test. In order to describe the characteristic and income level were used central measurement or score average of whole respondents as categorizing used value rank (interval). Based on result and discussion of the research, average of work productivity of tea picker in PTP Nusantara VI Kayu Aro is 5.55 kg/h and average income of tea picker female worker that gained by picking tea is Rp. 727,637.27/months by contribution of 58.31%. Statistic analysis result by Rank Spearman correlation test has known that factors of responsibility family member, motivation, and perception to income has significant correlation to the productivity level of tea picker female worker in PTP Nusantara VI Kayu Aro. Factors of age, formal education, work experience and perception to company facilities have not a significant correlation to the productivity level

    The objective of this research are to assess farmers' perceptions about the food barn revitalization of farmer groups and determine the relationship between rice farmers attributes with their perception of the food barn revitalization. This research was conducted in the subsdistrict of Northern Seluma and Sukaraja, district of Seluma, in 2013. This research used primary and secondary data. Analysis method used in this research were qualitative descriptive and linear probability model analysis. The research resulted that farmers' perception of the food barn revitalization is a good perception i.e. 89%. The land area and capital attributes were correlated significantly with the farmers' perception, whereas age, formal education, farming experience, the sum of family burden, meeting frequency, cosmopolitan, and technology information searching were not correlated significantly

    The study of the correlation between social economy factors and the acceptance level of the smallholder palm plantations is conducted in Nanti Agung Village, Ilir Talo Subdistrict Seluma Regency. The aims of the study are to investigate the accepatance level of the smallholder palm plantations and to investigate the correlation between social economic factors and the acceptance of the citizenry palm plantations. The amount of 71 farmers that have main work in palm plantations area are taken by census. Data are analyzed by chi square (X2). The study show that the acceptance level of smallholder palm farmers is in medium/high enough category. Social-economy factors that obviously correlated toward the acceptance level of the smallholder palm plantations are farmer\u27s age, formal education, the number of workers, and wide area. The other way, the factors that are not correlated toward the acceptance level of smallholder palm plantation farmers are non formal education, motivation, and experinces in plantations working

    The research to aimed quantify the level of purchases of cooking oil in households in the city of Bengkulu and to analyze the factors affecting the level of purchases of cooking oil in households in the city of Bengkulu. The research area decided by purposive. The data that use in this research are primary data and secondary data. Analyzed method use Multiple Linear Regresion derived by the square of the least square ordinary (Ordinary Least Square / OLS). The result show : The average purchase of cooking oil in Bengkulu City every month of 6.6 kg / household / month. Household income positive significant effect on the purchase of cooking oil in the city of Bengkulu, and number of branded cooking oil purchases negative significant effect on the purchase of cooking oil in the city of Bengkulu. However, of age, education, household spending, and perceptions of the cooking oil products did not significantly influence the purchase of cooking oil in the city of Bengkulu

    The research aim to know analize of working time and related wich the woman\u27s vegetable\u27s retailer income (case in market of Bengkulu city) the research executed on July\u27s 27 – Agus\u27t 27 2005.The objek of this research were to know: 1. The reason why the women work as vegetable\u27s retailer, 2.The factors that related with women\u27s working time, 3. The related between working time witht income of women as vegetable\u27s retailer, 4. Their contribution with household income. The location of this research determined with census method in Pasar Minggu, Pasar Baru Koto I, pasar Panorama, Pasar Pagar Dewa. The responden in this research determined with census method with respondent of 28 persons.The information, that used in this research, based on primary and secondary data. The analysis that used are deskriptive method, income analyze, Rang Spearman Corelation by using two tail of t test whit confidence level of 95% ( = 0.025) and contribution analyze. The result of the research showed that the reason why working as vegetable\u27 retailerbecause economic, social and culture motive. Related to working time the motivation and perception are factor relatec to working time. The result of analyses show that, the average of income was Rp 1.950.937,50 / month and the average of income\u27s contribution was 66,76 %

    This research aims are to know the reason of consumers chosen and the factors influencing decision of consumers chosen Syngenta or Non Syngenta product.This reseach was apllied at Selupu Rejang Sub district Rejang Lebong District. Analysis methods which used are descriptive analysis and quantitative analysis. Descriptive analysis that is giving common picture to reseach object, reasons pushing consumers to chosen and consume the Syngenta or Non Syngenta product, and also explain the proportion USAge of insecticide, fungicide and haerbicide from Syngenta or Non Syngenta product. Quantitative analysis is to know the factors of influencing consumers decision in chosen Syngenta or Non Syngenta product by using regression model of logit. Result of analysis indicate that the reasons of consumers chosen Syngenta product are efective to use, good harvest, price reached, more use by the farmers. And than, the reasons of consumers chosen Non Syngenta product are efective to use, swafety to use, good harvest and more use by the farmer

    This study aims to determine and analyse the level of technical efficiency and the factors influencing technical efficiency of a potato farming in North Dempo, sub-district Pagar Alam City, South Sumatera Province using 51 farmers who are censused. Frontier production function, estimated using the MLE method, is used to determine the level of technical efficiency. Meanwhile, multiple regression estimated using OLS approach is used to determine factors influencing technical efficiency level. The research showed that, land area, seed, organic fertilizer, ZA fertilizer, Ponska fertilizer, and fungiside were significantly affect potato production. The research finds that the level of technical efficiency of potato farming was, on the average, 81.336 percent. The research also shows that the intensity of extension and farmers\u27 experience affect significantly and negatively technical inefficiency while formal education, age, and land ownership status do not

    Analisis Perilaku Konsumen Produk Syngenta: Kasus di Kecamatan Ketahun Kabupaten Bengkulu Utara

    The purposes of this research are to determine the factors related to consumer perception on Syngenta products; to analyse relation between farmer perceptionon Syngenta product and purchasing behavior; and to examine the most product used by consumer.The research is done intentionally to 96 respondents. Two method analyses use in this study, i.e., a descriptive analysis and Rank Kendall correlation (t). The study finds that family income and farmer views significantly correlate to the consumer perception on Syngenta products, whereas the farm area and farmer experience are not.
